You Hold Me Like A Rose

You hold me like a precious rose,
And compose the sweetest songs
To assure me that to you I belong;
And you propose incredible love
In the shadows of your chamber;
As intertwined vines, I am yours
And you are mine; to you I resign
And recline against your bosom
At an exquisite feast of marriage,
At which even the least are seated
After being greeted with a kiss . . .
And you will never leave me alone
As I always have my place
At your wondrous throne!
